Cherrybrook Maths Blog

Grace is one of our Y9 students Cherrybrook Maths Coaching. She joined us last year and has put in consistent effort each and every week, to fill gaps and increase her understanding. She has been coming to classes twice a week this term, and was even working on math problems on the plane whilst recently travelling to Europe. The result? Coming 1st in her recent school mathematics assessment, improving by over 30% from her last test. We commend Grace for not only her excellent achievement, but for her perseverance and consistent work ethic. Well done to Grace and her math coach Steve Yeung. Congrats all round! Anna is one of our Y7 students at Cherrybrook Maths Coaching. She joined us recently and has really thrived in our lessons. She has shown a consistent level of work ethic and enjoys learning new concepts. Particularly, she found our exam revision material extremely helpful to prepare for her school exams. In her last school test, she topped her grade with a 98% result! Well done to coach Josh and Anna for this achievement.

So proud of Jack. He has come a long way and is much more confident in maths now. He comes into class with a bounce in his step. Well done mate and keep it up!

Ella has been with Cherrybrook Maths Coaching for one term. When she first joined, she was eager to learn but lacked confidence. After just one term of weekly lessons and working closely with her coach, Steve Yeung, Ella’s progress has been remarkable. Her confidence has soared, and she recently achieved a perfect score of 100% in her school exam. We are thrilled with her growth and wish her continued success.

Jeremy has been with us since the beginning of CMC days. He has grown so much as a student and a person in this time. I have been very impressive by his resilience, consistent work ethic and dedication to his studies. A very strong result in the recent Algebra exam is a reflection of this. Well done and keep up the great work Jeremy!

Robin in Y10 has been with us at CMC for less than a term and improved by over 40% in his recent school exam! We’ve seen a complete transformation in his skills and confidence in maths!

Arturo has been with us at Cherrybrook Maths Coaching for a year. He has gone from B’s in maths to now straight A’s, scoring on average 95%. Well done Arturo and tutor Steve Yeung

Gemma and Ruby are Year 9 students have been with us at CMC for a year. During this time, the girls have been extremely diligent. Tutor Steve has taught them all of Year 9 and 10 Algebra (amongst other topics) in 1 year, and we are preparing them for success in their senior years. In their recent yearly exam, the girls achieved results in the high 90’s. The girls have grown so much in confidence with maths, which has positively impacted their confidence in other subject areas too. Well done and keep up the great work!
